After studying at the University of Waterloo, Ontario and achieving a BSc. at City University in London, Maria specialised in a number of health-related therapies.
She qualified as an Advanced Gym Instructor Level 2 &3 from NASM and Kingston University and successfully completed the Diploma level of the London School of Sports Massage.
She also qualified with KTA (Kinesio Taping), P-DTR, ART® (Active Release Techniques), IASTM and Myofascia.
In German-speaking Switzerland, Maria is the only qualified practitioner for Active Release Technique (ART®) and for P-DTR. She is also the only IASTM (Graston-based) therapist.
Maria has worked with athletes, active recreational sports people and others, applying her unique combination of effective therapies to make sure that people feel better, regular activities and training can be resumed and pain is alleviated.
