I use a number of techniques in combination to treat conditions:
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex addresses musculoskeletal problems by focusing on an important, but largely overlooked apparatus of the human body: the mechanoreceptor system.
Active Release Technique uses movement-based manual therapy to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
IASTM Tools are used to clear soft-tissue injuries. The tools identify and break down scar tissue which stimulates the body’s healing process.
Sports Massage is a “holistic” therapy which works on many levels influencing several systems of the body.
Soft Tissue Therapy integrates three essential clinical elements:
Assessment Applying a range of assessment methods to determine whether Soft Tissue Therapy is appropriate and devise a suitable treatment plan for the individual client.
Treatment Applying a range of soft tissue techniques (including massage) to aid recovery from injury and improve soft tissue condition and joint mobility.
Rehabilitation Offering advice on a range of remedial exercises and lifestyle factors aimed at speeding up recovery, preventing injury recurrence as well as improving posture, performance and function.
Treatments use techniques that combine to treat even the most stubborn and painful conditions, such as:
Tennis Elbow
Lower Back Pain
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Plantar Fasciitis
Achilles Tendinitis
Golfer’s Elbow
Rotator Cuff- or Shoulder Tendinitis
Limited Mobility
Cervical Sprain/Neck Pain
…and many more.
